Read more about metaViz below, or jump right in by watching the tutorial video to learn about the visualization. Find. Use the visualization to find metaphors in different political blogs from different domains. For example, with military metaphors in AMERICAblog, see how a state is like a battle. What other interesting metaphors can you find? Reflect. Any metaphor highlights some aspects of a situation and downplays others. How is an election like a battle? How is an election not like a battle? Which metaphors do you use that are the same as the blogs, and which are different? Create. Use the visualization's Link button to share the metaphors you find with your friends. What other metaphors do they find that you might not have noticed? Try to create new metaphors and see how they change the way you talk -- and the way you think. To get started, try out the visualization.
